Sorry this newsletter is a little late!
We went back to hybrid/in-person instruction on January 25. I want to thank everyone for their continued diligence and willingness to fill out the screening form each day you dance, even if you are all virtual. I know it seems ridiculous to have you fill out all the things on the form if you aren't even setting foot in the space, but from my perspective, with so many dancers to consider, it just makes it easier to have all the information in one place each week. If you are wanting to dance in person, remember you will be sent home if we don't receive the completed form. IF you have a dancer going between two households, please make sure we have everyone included as a contact in Jackrabbit. Everyone who is a contact and/or responsible for a dancer getting to the studio should be emailed the form. Feel free to send me an email with someone you want included and I will make sure their information gets into the system.
Something new that will be included on the forms is a section on travel. Many of you are choosing to travel for spring break or otherwise. Please note: If you have traveled, dancers need to participate virtually for 14 days after they return. A sub will be brought in for instructors and staff who choose to travel. This may be reduced to 10 days with a negative test result, AS LONG AS the test is taken 5 days after return (not before 5 days). Thank you for your cooperation with this.
All of this may seem a little overboard, but it is this conservative approach that will continue to keep us all safe and keep dancing!
If you have any questions or concerns, please do send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or you can call me on my cell: 612-267-1766. I am more than happy to talk to any one of you.
