NAMI Sussex envisions a community where those impacted by mental illness obtain the help, support and hope they require to achieve resiliency, recovery and wellness.
NAMI Family-to-Family, a free, evidence-based, 8 week program, will be offered online via Zoom on Thursday evenings, 6:30-9:00 p.m., from March 4 to April 29. The course is provided to support and educate family members and close friends of individuals with mental illness.  Participants will learn effective communication skills, problem-solving techniques, and how to manage their own stress and face crises as they arise.

Course teachers are trained NAMI family member volunteers who have experienced
firsthand the difficulties of guiding their loved one to recovery from a mental illness.

We invite you to call for more information and/or to pre-register for the course.
Zoom training will be available to participants who need it.
Call Jeri at 973-214-0632, 9 A.M. - 9 P.M.
Pre-registration by phone is required.  Class size is limited to 16.

NAMI Sussex invites you to join us for a free online screening of the powerful IndieFlix documentary film Angst: Raising Awareness Around Anxiety”. Kids and teens share their struggles with anxiety and discuss its impacts on their lives and relationships, as well as how they’ve found solutions and hope. Mental health experts explain the causes and sociological effects of anxiety and recommend resources and tools available to address the condition. The 55-minute film will be followed by an informative panel discussion with one of the filmmakers and expert guests.
