Do you have any innovative project ideas that could benefit VTrans? This year, the Vermont State Transportation Innovation Council (STIC) is focusing on projects that address:
Climate adaptation strategies that bolster the resilience of our infrastructure
Ways to increase the involvement of underserved communities in the transportation decision-making process
You have the opportunity to secure up to $100,000 in Federal funding for your project by submitting a STIC Incentive Award Application. The STIC Incentive program supports or offsets the costs of standardizing innovative practices. Projects should have an AOT Champion and applicants should suggest sources for a 20 percent match.
Applications will be reviewed by the STIC Executive Team, who will base their award selections on a project's alignment and fit with VTrans and FHWA goals and priorities. Visit the VTrans STIC website for more information and the application.
