Hi everyone! I am extremely humbled and honored to be writing this and am so excited to be the Antiochian Village’s Program Director. I started out as a Kansas girl (My dog’s name is Sadie, not Toto), with my roots at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Kansas City and Camp Saint Raphael (Yaboy!). While deepening my faith at CSR, my family and I learned about AV and fell in love with it. I ended up attending as a camper and served on staff, which then escalated to serving as an intern in September 2021.
Outside of my years at camp, I graduated from Missouri State University, moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, and worked at a mental health crisis line followed by working at the OU-TU School of Community Medicine as a Project Assistant.
I suppose this is the section I’m supposed to assure you I have other interests in my day to day. So here are some of my traits:
- I have a healthy heart mainly due to eating waayy too many honey nut cheerios a month (record is 6 boxes)
- Despite living in the flat lands most of my life, I love hiking and spent a month in Colorado hiking 500 miles with my best friend (shout out Paige Sideras)
- Yes I work in an office, no my name is not Pam
I’m so excited to be working at AV and serving all you beautiful, wonderful humans. See you all soon!
