2022 Philanthropy Partner
Giving back to the community is one of our core values at Hanson & Ryan. Each year, the Hanson & Ryan family nominates local charity causes and we decide together the recipient of our yearly philanthropy. This year, the Hanson & Ryan family has decided to partner with the Tyler Clementi Foundation.

In August 2010, Tyler Clementi became a student at Rutgers University where he was looking forward to growing and living openly as a gay man. Soon after the semester started, Tyler Clementi became a victim of cyberbullying, and several days later, he took his life.

The Tyler Clementi Foundation was created to raise awareness about the effects of bullying and put an end to online and offline bullying in schools, workplaces, and faith communities.
