This workshop will help your businesses with tax preparations for the 2021-year filing and will cover:
  • Documentations required for filing an accurate business tax return 
  • Updates on tax credits that business owners should know about 
  • What to do with the PPP or EIDL loan on your taxes -Business tips for good accounting practices for business owner

The Rhode Island Black Business Association (RIBBA) is currently seeking nominations for individuals to serve on its Board of Directors. We are always on the lookout for strategic and skilled individuals who can strengthen the effectiveness of our board as we build our advocacy & policy, governance, fund development, and finance committees. RIBBA welcomes you to present nominations and self-nominations for consideration for the board positions.

Want to leverage technology and digitize your small business but not sure who to ask or where to start? Then you won’t want to miss this workshop facilitated by a team of Verizon's digital solutions experts to learn how you can do more with less, generate additional revenue, create better customer experiences, and protect your business.

FirstGenHomeRI: Making Home Buying a Possibility for RI'ers
FirstGenHomeRI opens the doors for first-generation homebuyers with $25,000 in down payment and/or closing cost assistance.

Homeownership is the primary way families can build financial security and generational wealth. With the current Black home-ownership numbers in Rhode Island at 6%, this new program will provide resources and access to this wealth-building opportunity.
