Concord Township celebrates our Bicentennial in 2022!

Let’s celebrate together!

TRUSTEE CORNER

groundbreaking.jpg

Welcome to February, Concord Township! Such a short and sweet month filled with lots of love. We will soon find out if the groundhog will see his shadow. For the sake of construction, we hope not! Now that the ground has been broken for the new fire station, we look forward to seeing the progress and the construction take shape. After many years of hard work, the long road begins with the construction of the fire station. The project will result in necessary improved safety for both our firefighters and our community. It is very fitting that the groundbreaking of this project is during our township bicentennial year. It is a great beginning to a project so important to our vibrant community.

We have a lot to celebrate throughout our bicentennial year. Please make sure to attend some of the fantastic events in honor of our township that our Recreation Department has planned in the upcoming months.

Our service department is working to keep our roads clear especially with all the winter weather we’ve been experiencing. Remember to give our plow trucks plenty of room to perform their duties.

Have a great February, Concord!

FIRE DEPARTMENT

Feb2022.EMS.MCExampleLtrhead.jpg

In 2006, to ensure adequate funding to equip and train our EMS providers, Concord Township began billing for patient transports. Emergency Management and Consultants (EMS/MC), a national billing service provider based in Winston-Salem, NC presently handles our EMS billing. Following a transport, EMS/MC may contact you via mail, to obtain your insurance information or verify other demographic information (see example).

In this day and age of fraud, it is understandable to be leary of requests for personal information. Rest assured that EMS/MC has processes in place to protect your information and your claim will be handled by a team of professionals.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Fire Chief Sabo at 440-354-7503 or EMS/MC customer service 800-814-5339.
