Dear Pro-Life Friend,
We had an amazing pilgrimage to the state capitol this month! Thank you for your prayers and advocacy, mark your calendar for next year's: March 2023, and if you haven't done so already, please head over to the FCCB's website to let your state senator know how important it is that they support the bill protecting women and their children from abortion after 15 weeks in Florida.

We're so encouraged to see this pro-life bill move forward in our state legislature, continue to pray it will be signed into law, and that in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe this summer, God willing, we'll head back to Tallahassee next year to advocate for the legal protection of unborn children from the very moment of conception.

We're ready for a post-Roe world, but we need your help to ensure that everyone knows the Church is here for them to help make abortion unthinkable.

Here are three timely ways you can put your faith into action to build the culture of life and love that will truly save lives and souls:

First, register for our overview and training to learn about our new ministry for those affected by abortion. One out of four of our sisters in Christ have been personally wounded by abortion and we must work together as a Church to help extend the mercy of Christ, the Divine Physician, so that all may be reconciled and experience hope and healing in Him.

Second, come to our Sidewalk Advocacy training to learn ways to engage and offer life-affirming resources to our brothers and sisters in need, so that we can have an effective presence outside all 25 abortion clinics within our Archdiocese and help end abortion in South Florida.

Third, consider applying to become a volunteer in one of our pregnancy help center locations. We'll get you onboarded and orient you to the ministry from a Catholic perspective, and train you to accompany men and women from the moment they think they might be pregnant and don't know to do, throughout the journey of pregnancy and parenting until their child's second birthday. Volunteering in our centers is a beautiful, hands-on way to put your pro-life beliefs into practice through loving service.

This Lent, let's ask the Holy Spirit to guide and show us the parts of ourselves that are holding us back from the life He wants for us so we can die to sin and rise to new life in Him.
For Life,
Rebecca

Pray for Dobbs
The so-called constitutional right to elective abortion is being challenged in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Supreme Court case and the decision will be handed down in June. Join the national campaign to pray that Roe v. Wade (1973) and Planned Parenthood v. Casey (1992) will be overturned, returning the issue of abortion to the legislatures for the first time in 50 nearly years.

Please pray and fast, and visit prayfordobbs.com to learn more.
Action Alerts
State Level
After passing the House and the necessary Senate committees, the next step for the 15-week abortion bill in Florida is a vote by the full Senate which will happen soon! Contact your state senator today!
Federal Level
Last fall, the U.S. House of Representatives voted to pass the so-called Women’s HealthProtection Act. This coming Monday, February 28, the Senate will vote on it.

Your senators need to hear from you NOW.

Among other extreme actions, this most radical abortion bill ever seen would:

  • Impose abortion on demand nationwide throughout every stage of pregnancy
  • Ban pro-life laws nationally AND in every state and local government
  • Force Americans to financially support abortions in the U.S. & abroad
  • Likely force health care providers to participate in abortions against their beliefs
  • Likely force employers and insurers to cover or pay for abortion

Please contact your Senators today to let them know this horrible bill must never become law.

Pre-written messages are ready for you to edit or send. It just takes a moment!
