REMINDER TO RE-ENROLL

We are now re-enrolling current students for the 2023-2024 school year. All parents of students in grades 6-11 should have received an email from Mr. Staffelbach announcing re-enrollment season, followed by an Adobe form sent as a separate email with a link to electronic paperwork. Please note that there was a typographical error in the first round of forms sent out. It is important to use the link provided in the email with word "corrected" in the subject line. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Re-enrollment paperwork is due on February 17, 2023. If you did not receive your form or have any questions about re-enrollment, please reach out to us and we will assist you.

LECTURE & PERFORMANCE SERIES

As part of our Lecture & Performance Series, Trinity School brings guest lecturers who are experts in a variety of fields to speak to our students during the school day. We are excited to be hosting the first lecture of the school year today (Wednesday), February 1, as we welcome Dr. Ian Ona Johnson to campus. Dr. Johnson will give a talk on the history leading up to the war between Russia and Ukraine.
Dr. Johnson is the P.J. Moran Family Assistant Professor of Military History at the University of Notre Dame and also an alumnus of Trinity School, having graduated from Trinity School at River Ridge in 2005. You can read his full biography here.

MID-WINTER BREAK

There will be no school the week of February 20-24 for Mid-Winter Break.

ALL-SCHOOL SKI DAY

All-School Ski Day is on Monday, February 20. If your child would like to participate, please turn in a signed permission form to the front office by Monday, February 13. Full details about All-School Ski Day can be found in the email sent out on January 24.

PIZZA LUNCH

Our next Pizza Lunch will be on Thursday, February 9. Order forms are available now for students to pick up at the front office. Forms and payment (cash-only) must be returned by Tuesday, February 7

Pizza is $2 per slice. Each student must submit a separate form with his or her individual pizza order to the front office. Siblings may submit and pay for multiple orders together if they wish, as long as they turn in a separate order form for each sibling. The office will have change available.

Please reach out with questions to Beth Couch at bethcouch@trinityschools.org.

MOCK TRIAL REGIONAL COMPETITION

All are invited to support our mock trial teams at the Mock Trial Regional Competition on Saturday, February 18, at John Adams High School. If you plan to come out and support our teams, here is some information that you will find helpful, including parking information and spectator etiquette.

NEW VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

If you have not yet signed up to volunteer for an event, we invite you to visit our SignUpGenius list and find an event that works with your schedule. We ask that families serve at a minimum of two events during the course of the school year. The SignUpGenius list was recently updated with new volunteer opportunities.

REGISTER NEW STUDENT DRIVERS

All students who drive to school are asked to register with the front office. If your child is a new driver and did not register in the fall, please email tsgloffice@trinityschools.org with the make, model, color, insurance carrier, and license plate number of your car. Thank you!

ENRICHMENT CAMPS

We still have a few spots available for students in grades 4-6 in our Enrichment Camps on February 4 and 11. These camp sessions, led by members of our faculty, are a wonderful opportunity for prospective students to experience a little bit of what learning is like at Trinity School. There is no fee to attend, but spots are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Learn more and register on the Camps page of our website, and share this opportunity with family and friends!

Contact Josh Caneff if you have any questions at jcaneff@trinityschools.org.

OPEN HOUSE & VISIT DAYS

We have many opportunities for prospective families to visit Trinity School this spring. Be sure to share these opportunities with interested friends and family, and direct them to the Visit Us page of our website. We host a monthly Info Night, and are also hosting an Open House on February 11. Visit Days for prospective students are scheduled for March 6 and 13, and April 17.

WEATHER CLOSURES

In the event of inclement weather, we will communicate a closure via email by 7:00 a.m. Trinity School closures will also be posted on WSBT-TV, WNDU-TV, and ABC-57. Please keep in mind that Trinity School closures do not always align with the decisions of the South Bend Community School Corporation.

Both WSBT and WNDU offer text alerts for school closures. You can sign up to receive a text alert specifically for Trinity School by using the forms on their websites.

MOSAIC WINTER SOIREE—THANK YOU!

Many thanks to all who joined us for the 2023 Mosaic Winter Soirée. It was a joy to come together as a community and express our shared gratitude for the mission and vision of Trinity School at Greenlawn. If you were not able to attend, please know you were missed!
