Zoom Updates

Zoom Quarterly Cycle Policy

Zoom will continue to enforce a minimum version each quarter with its Quarterly Life Cycle Policy. On February 4, 2023, Zoom will require version 5.10.3 or higher. Please check your Zoom version and update it to the latest version if necessary. If you are unable to see the update option within the Zoom app, your app is automatically being updated by the Office of Information Technology and no action is needed.

Honorlock Reminders

Reminders for Honorlock users:

In your D2LCourse, go to Resources > Honorlock then review and enable settings for each Honorlock exam after a course copy is done.
Prepare your students for success by allowing them to experience the Honorlock proctoring process before taking a graded exam. You can accomplish this by either:

Setting up a Practice Exam

Practice Exams help by familiarizing students with the Honorlock platform and its requirements. This allows them to become more confident and comfortable during the online proctoring process.

Setting up a Simulated - not proctored Exam

This allows you to create your exams in D2L or use a third-party tool like McGraw Hill.
