FEBRUARY IS HEART HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH

Heart Disease is a general term for a wide array of different conditions that negatively affect the heart. The heart is a vital organ that carries oxygenated and nutrient rich blood to every cell in your body, and takes waste and CO2 out of the cells to be removed from the body. Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) is the most common form of heart disease in the United States which directly impacts blood flow and leads to heart attacks. Smoking, Drinking, Poor diet and exercise, and your genetics play a role in the development of heart disease. Living healthy while getting routine check ups at the doctor is key for prevention!

She enjoys spending time with her family, crocheting, sewing, making memory pillows, loves to cook, and loves caring for the elderly.
