Cost for our luncheons has gone up! Sorry to say, that day has come (insert sad music). As we see costs rising everywhere, we have come to the decision that we too must raise the price of our luncheons. Historically, the Chamber has subsidized part of the cost of the luncheons because we believe in the value of these gatherings for our community, and we'll continue to do so. But with costs to us rising, we've reached the point that we must pass along some of that increase to our participants. We've kept these as low as we can, but the costs beginning this month are:
- Member Online Advanced - $25
- Member at the Door - $30
- Non-Member - $30

Change is Coming! New CRM | |
This week the Port Angeles Chamber is in the process of migrating to a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
We have high hopes of a smooth transition, but expect there may be some hiccups along the way. Please bear with us.
We will reach out to our membership base once the migration is complete to have you look at your profile to ensure everything looks correct to you.

Annual Heart Luncheon Scheduled for February 23rd at Field Arts & Events Hall
Not only is the event educational, providing valuable education on how to prevent heart disease, it has raised money to purchase life-saving equipment.
“One of the great thing about sponsoring this event is that it is a great opportunity for companies and organizations to send their female employees to the event, since the theme of the event is women’s health,” said Red, Set, Go Chair Karen Rogers.
Funds from the 2023 event went towards purchasing a mobile c-arm x-ray unit. The unit provides the support needed for new leadless pacemaker program.

The St. Patrick’s Day Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, March 16th on the Waterfront Trail starting at the Red Lion Hotel.
The Great Olympic Peninsula St. Patrick’s Day Run/Walk presented by Strait View Credit Union will be held in conjunction with the OMC Foundation’s Red, Set, Go luncheon, and will benefit the OMC Heart Center.
The out and back event will head east before turning around at the 5k and 10k turn around. Awards will be given to the top male and female and also to age group award winners.
Funds from the 2022 race and the Red, Set, Go luncheon went towards the purchase of cardiac software for OMC’s new CT Scan, which the Foundation also purchased. The software will enable OMC to conduct scans of the heart, which prior machines weren’t able to do.
Registration will be held on site the day of the race if space is still available.

Second Weekend Art Opening - Fractal World Explorations by Cory Ench
Sat. Feb. 10th from 5 to 8, with Live Music by Tin Sandwich
Sun. Feb. 11th from 12 to 3
Cory Ench is a visual artist who has lived and worked on the North Olympic Peninsula since the late 1980s. He has won many awards, and his work has been in numerous fine art shows. "I make art because it is a personal need to be creative in that way, and it has been an anchor in my life since I was very young," says Ench.
He holds a fine arts degree from Cornish Institute in Seattle. He did additional anatomy studies at the University of Washington's medical school to improve his understanding of classical figure painting.
His work includes numerous public art projects. Most familiar locally are the Kalakala ferry mural in downtown Port Angeles and the two-section Ennis Creek mural on Port Angeles City Pier.
He has also created murals for Olympic National Park and the Sequim Museum and Arts. He taught art classes at Peninsula College.
Ench has done posters for major festivals including Burning Man and Seattle Hempfest.
His illustration work received the Chesley Award for Best Book Cover Illustration (Magazine) 2007 and Artist Guest of Honor at two sci-fi conventions including NORWESCON 40 in Seattle.
Most of Ench's work has been paintings, drawings and sculptures inspired by natural forms and patterns. In the mid-1990s this led him into an extensive exploration of the possibilities of fractal art imagery.
His work demonstrates how fractal patterns are a universal expression in nature and the visible universe.
His pioneering "Fractal World Art Explorations" was included in two international exhibits. He was a juror for the Mandelbrot International Fractal Art Competition after winning that contest twice and being included in two European art exhibits.
