Message from the President

Hello fellow Jaycees,

We are now 2 months into the new year and we would like to hear how everything is going. Please remember to keep up on renewals in GlueUp every month so your chapter isn’t losing members. Check your email for regular updates regarding member renewals and chapter events across the state. If you would like us to include any events you have coming up please send them along and we will get them included. Together, we can continue to build leaders, work as a team, and make an impact in our local communities. Should you need to reach me you can email pa@jciusa.org

Please share this publication with your members or have them sign up to receive their own Keystone Connection from the PA Jaycees.

JANUARY AND FEBRUARY 2024 MEMBERS are NOW DUE!!! If you have not renewed your members for either month, please do so NOW!!!

If you have any questions or need help with the GLUE UP system, please contact us ASAP. Don't let your membership drop, make sure you know your renewal date and how to log into system to renew members.

Admin Director Erica will be sending out chapter rosters with information on how to renew or add members in the new Glue Up system soon. JCI USA’S HIGHEST HONOR

Recognition programs are a fundamental part of the Jaycee movement. JCI USA has established an honor program,

which not only recognizes its own outstanding members past and present, but also allows a method of building and maintaining permanent records of our honored Ambassadors as part of the JCI USA heritage. Through this

program, the local, state, and national JCI USA organizations bestow upon their candidates the title of Ambassador,

the highest of JCI USA honors. The Ambassador Honor program supplies the recognition deserved by so many

outstanding past and present JCI USA members.

CRITERIA

In order for a JCI USA member to be considered for the honor, several guidelines have been established as far as a

candidate's qualifications.

1) The Ambassador honoree must display a record of outstanding service and involvement

2) The Ambassador honoree must have been a three-year member in good standing

3) The Ambassador honoree must have served one year on a local JCI USA Board of Directors or have served one year on a state Executive Committee.

JCI'S HIGHEST HONOR

A JCI Senatorship is the highest honor which can be bestowed upon a current or past member by Junior Chamber International for outstanding service to the organization. It provides a unique means for recognizing a member’s outstanding achievements, and also confers upon that individual a “Life Membership” in Junior Chamber International, although this status does not exempt a member from paying regular membership dues.

A JCI Senatorship may be given to any local Junior Chamber member in appreciation of services rendered at any level of the organization, and is subject to the approval of the local, state, and national Presidents. Current local members must have a minimum of five years of membership before they may be nominated for a JCI Senatorship.
