New sessions of Spanish classes with Patricia Almanzar begin after the February break.

Beginner Spanish (Course 12403) meets in the evenings at Scarsdale High School starting Wednesday, February 28, and is designed for students with little or no previous exposure to Spanish and will cover basic grammar, practical vocabulary and expressions.

Earlier that same day, Advanced Beginner Spanish (Course 12402) is for students who have an understanding of the present tense and reflexive verbs. Focus will be on the past, future, and compound tenses while also covering new vocabulary and sentence structure as students develop their written and verbal abilities.

By popular demand, just added to the list of walking tours in March is a new session of Helen Lee's Faces of Europe at the Met (12499), scheduled for Monday, March 18, 2024, from 11:00am to 12:30pm. This installment in her walking tour series will focus on artists from France, Spain, and England and will not repeat any of the paintings viewed in the February tour.
