EEOC Announces Shift in "Protecting Women in the Workplace"

On January 20, 2025, President Trump issued Executive Order 14168, “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government.” On January 28, 2025, the EEOC announced a shift in how it will protect "women from sexual harassment and sex-based discrimination in the workplace."

On December 19, 2024, the EEOC announced a new fact sheet, “Wearables in the Workplace: The Use of Wearables and Other Monitoring Technology Under Federal Employment Discrimination Laws.”
