History With Holiday Wrappings
Our upcoming HISTORICAL HOLIDAYS / November 29-December 6 tour is an amalgam of some of our nation's most historic sites combined with the trappings of holiday decorations and festivities! The end result is an experience unlike any other.
From the historic halls of the famous Greenbrier Resort that has a history of welcoming thousands of guests including world leaders and multiple presidents, serving as a safety bunker for governmental leaders during the Cold War, and as a hospital for recovering World War II soldiers and then on to the colonial decorations, festivities, and flavors of Williamsburg and Thomas Jefferson's home on a mountaintop - Monticello, our travelers will gain a new appreciation for the holiday season. The final bow completing the holiday wrappings of your experiences will be Washington, DC with its famous monuments, memorials, and statues.
Special note: Unforeseen circumstances have caused several of those reserved to cancel. Their bad news can become your good news as their cancellations have resulted in several openings. Click here to view detailed brochure. After you review contacts us with your questions and to reserve before the created availability is gone.

Costa Rica Is Calling
Already a successful departure, we do have a few additional spaces available on our upcoming FEATURE TRAVEL group departure if one acts quickly.
By way of recommendation consider the observation made by someone who has been there. He is one of our Seven Continent Club members and a now retired intrepid traveler who along with his wife, and often his family, travels to destinations around the world much of the year. He says, "Costa Rica is at the top, or very nearly the top, of all my travel experiences to date."
Click the following highlighted link and a detailed four-page brochure will open for you. Again, limited remaining spaces and even more limited time to reserve them is in play.

Single-Share Opportunity For You Or Someone You Know
Fulltime team member Cora Usoro will be personally hosting our upcoming CALIFORNIA "WITHOUT" ITS BIG CITIES / August 18-25 tour. She is willing to discuss sharing accommodations with another female. We never arbitrarily assign share situations. Instead, the persons involved visit and determine between themselves if it is something they want to do.
Intentionally, big cities like Los Angeles and those areas affected by recent wildfires are avoided. Instead, the natural wonders and amazing history of it smaller cities are experienced as one travels from amazing Yosemite National Park to one of the most important wind-growing areas of the world - Napa Valley
Sharing saves hundreds of dollars in single supplement charges imposed by the involved hotels.

What Out Travelers Say
LINDA BLAKE - Tampa, FL
The trip to New Zealand was so beautiful. The scenery was spectacular. Being able to snorkel the Great Barrier Reef has always been a dream!! It came true. Seeing the Opera House and being able to see part of a rehearsal was great.
LINDA STAHLMAN - Hays, KS
This was truly an amazing adventure! It’s a step out of one’s comfort zone that lets you experience northern lights, feeding reindeer, having a dog sled ride, eating reindeer, enjoying good food and being with others having fun as well! The cabin and glass igloo were very nice accommodations! Helsinki was an interesting place to explore and see sights there too! Their library is amazing! Memories!

This Month's Travel Trivia
-
Question: Who discovered Alaska's Glacier Bay?
-
Answer: Now a national park Glacier Bay, home of multiple majestic glaciers (Alaska has more glaciers than the rest of the world combined), is "must see" experience of an Alaska Inside Passage cruise. John Muir discovered the bay in October of 1879 and wrote, "the treasures we had gained in the glorious morning would enrich our lives forever." The youngest of John Muir's Tlingit guides, Sitka Charley prompted him to go in search of the bay of ice that would later abe named Glacier Bay. Charley knew only vaguely of the bay from hunting seals with his father when he was a boy.

Final Point to Ponder -
"What if I reserve early to lock in spaces and secure special benefits and then have to cancel? Will I lose my deposit or otherwise be penalized?"
Truthfully, without proper planning and guidance odds of having cancellation assessments imposed by cruise lines, tour operators, airlines, etc. are more than likely to apply.
However, this fact "should not" deter early reservations and their many benefits that flow from them. The key is proper planning and guidance provided by a full time travel professional provided as part of your reservation process.
Consider:
- There are travel experiences that provide no-cost "cancellation for any reason" protection until a date certain with 100% cash refund of all monies paid. This is present in the majority of our specially-crafted personally escorted and value-added group FEATURE TRAVEL experiences. Although variable, this date is often seven to eight months prior to departure.
- Travel protection insurance is "always" recommended. In addition to providing protection in the event of a cancellation "for covered reasons - not change of mind," it normally provides multiple additional insurance protections that continue through to the conclusion of one's travels.
- There is also the possibility of having travel protection insurance in place that allows "cancellations for any reason" up to 24 hours before scheduled departure. This type of protection is also available on a number of our FEATURE TRAVEL group experiences as well as on other type travels.
- Over the years, with proper planning and advice our travelers have avoided hundreds of thousands of dollars of imposed cancellation assessments.
-
Although we never enter into the decision process of whether an insurance claim will be paid as this is solely determined by the insurance companies, our team will always be "right there" for you in answering questions and providing necessary information to the the insurance companies. It's all part of our unmatched personal service and attention to detail we provide before, during, and after your travels. We have incorporated this level of personal service into our business credo of "Small Town Caring - Worldwide - Since 1966."
