CSBG Quarterly Reports Due February 15, 2025

The CSBG Second Quarterly Report will be due on 2/15/2025 through CSBG Reporter. The 2nd quarter report contains the CSBG Progress Report (unduplicated counts of people receiving services and outcomes in quarter 2) and the ROMA 2nd Quarter Progress reports. Reports are reviewed by CSBG staff and feedback is sent for any necessary corrections. As you are working on the reports please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Community Action Plans - Due May 1, 2025

The CSBG Community Action Plans will be due May 1, 2025. This plan will cover the program year starting July 1, 2025. The community action plan for the upcoming year will open by March 1, 2025 in CSBG Reporter. There will be a refresher webinar in March hosted by the CSBG Team. More information will be sent in our upcoming training newsletter.

OCS Issues DCL: Approval of Annual Report 3.0

On Monday, December 23, 2024, the Office of Community Services (OCS) released a Dear Colleague Letter announcing the approval of the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Annual Report 3.0 (OMB No. #0970-0492) by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) on December 17, 2024.

OCS intends to provide comprehensive TTA through reference materials, trainings, and one-on-one assistance where necessary to support grant recipients and subgrant recipients with implementation. To read the full DCL, please click here. 

The Virginia CSBG Office kicked off a workgroup in January. Several agencies have sent representatives to join the workgroup. This group will be discussing the changes, and what implementation in Virginia will look like.
