Fifth Annual Transition Fair


Save the date!

The 5th Annual Regional Transition Fair will be taking place on April 9, 2025 at the Concord Parks and Recreation Building.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about resource to support transition into life after high school or to just learn more about available programs in your area. Be sure to stick around after the event to watch a screening of Samuel Habib's film "The Ride Ahead!"


The Bureau of Developmental Services is kicking off a series of individual and family listening sessions to hear feedback, experiences, and thoughts from individuals and families who utilize services on the IHS Waiver. The Institute on Disability at UNH will facilitate these discussions.

Sessions will be held on February 18 4:00pm-6:00pm in Rye, on February 19 11:00am-1:00pm in Gorham, and on March 3 12:00pm-2:00pm in Bedford. Virtual sessions will be held February 11 5:00pm-7:00pm and February 25 4:00pm-6:00pm.

UNH is hosting a Unified Basketball League.



This league unites UNH students with individuals 18+ with intellectual disabilities, promoting inclusion, friendship and teamwork.

Camp Sno-Mo is Easterseals NH's nationally-recognized camping and recreation program for youth and adults of all abilities. You can access the registration page here!

In 2025, Camp Sno-Mo will be offering seven weeks of camping for ages 11-21 and two weeks of camping for adults over the age of 21.

 

New this year, you will need to pay a deposit to complete the registration process.

  • New Hampshire residents: $500 per camper, per session is due at the time of registration
  • Non-New Hampshire residents: $750 per camper, per session is due at the time of registration

 

2025 Fees 

 

$1,550 for small group campers (2 or 3 campers supported by 1 counselor)

 

$2,050 for 1-on-1 campers (1 counselor assigned to support a camper)

 

$2,900 for all non-New Hampshire resident campers 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3 ratio.


Due to high demand, the camp asks that families register for only one session of the 21+ camps. If you would like your camper to attend a second 21+ session, please email Camp Director Chris Ellis at cellis@eastersealsnh.org to have your camper placed on a waitlist should it become available.

Yesterday, Governor Ayotte gave her 2025 Budget Address in a joint session of the New Hampshire General Court. Budget highlights, include over $1 billion to fund services for citizens with disabilities and ensure there continues to be no waitlist and $10 million to support uncompensated care provided through Community Mental Health Centers.” Read the address here or watch on YouTube, beginning at 15:15.
