We want to bring an important matter to your attention regarding the security of the community’s mailbox clusters.

The USPS mail carrier has reported that the master key for mailboxes in the surrounding areas has been stolen. While USPS is actively working to address this situation, we strongly encourage all residents to take extra precautions to safeguard their mail.

To help prevent potential mail theft, we kindly ask that you check and retrieve your mail daily. If you are expecting important documents or packages, please monitor your deliveries closely and consider using USPS Informed Delivery to track incoming mail. Additionally, if you notice any suspicious activity around the mailboxes, we urge you to report it immediately to USPS and local authorities.

We understand that this news may be concerning, and we appreciate your cooperation in staying vigilant during this time. Your security and peace of mind are important to us, and we will continue to share any updates as we receive them.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out.

Thank you for your attention to this matter and for helping keep our community safe.

Reporting an Issue

If you see a streetlight out, report it directly to CenterPoint based on the address. Do you see a broken curb, missing or damaged sign, pothole or traffic light issue? These things and more can be reported directly to Fort Bend County.

To report any suspicious activity, call the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office Non-Emergency number:

281-341-4665

Contacting law enforcement directly is more efficient in those situations rather than posting on social media, TownSq or reaching out to the HOA.

School Zones

Please remember, there are two school zones within Firethorne. Use caution when driving in Firethorne especially around the elementary schools, bus stops and playgrounds.

DO NOT park in areas labeled as "No Parking Zone".

Community Reminders

  • Please DO NOT feed wildlife. Putting out bird seed and other food will attract many unwanted animals. This can become a nuisance for your neighbors.

  • All political signage must be removed within ten (10) days following the election.

  • Dirt bikes are not to be driven on any sidewalks or trails throughout the neighborhood.

  • Check your mailboxes daily and make a report if you feel any items may have been stolen.

  • The Deed Restriction Drive Team can sometimes make mistakes, but we have been seeing improvements. If you ever have a question about a violation, please contact the Management Office at 281-693-0003.

  • Please do not share key fobs with non-residents. You are allowed to bring 3 guests per household, but the homeowner must be present.

  • Rules are posted for all amenities as well as on our website, please review all the rules before using the amenities.

  • Make sure when you put your regular trash out at the curb it is in the trash can or bagged up securely to avoid trash blowing around the street.

  • Please trim trees that are hanging low over any sidewalks.

  • Park in your garage and/or driveway when possible so it is easier and safer to drive down the street.

  • You may not operate a business out of your home if it is apparent or detectable by sight, sound or smell.

  • Remember that many houses are very close to each other. Keep your neighbors in mind when you are in your yard and be mindful of your noise level especially late at night.

  • Parking by the mailboxes is for short term parking ONLY while you are picking up your mail. Do not park in these areas overnight.
