Dear RBUSD Community,

It’s an exciting time in RBUSD! We’re making tremendous strides toward our Strategic Plan goals, and we are thrilled to share some highlights with you. These updates reflect the hard work and dedication of our teachers, staff, students, and families.

Goal #1: Academic Achievement

  • The Math Committee created a new pathway with additional acceleration points and readiness indicators for advanced coursework, beginning in the 2025-26 school year. Watch the February 25th Board meeting to hear more information about how we are enhancing math achievement in RBUSD.
  • Middle school teachers are piloting the *Wit and Wisdom* English Language Arts curriculum to help inform next year’s curriculum decisions.
  • Our elementary teacher training continues to support effective reading interventions, helping students reach grade-level standards.

  • Our anti-hate and kindness campaigns are fostering a positive school environment, with events like the Start with Hello, Inclusion Week, and Great Kindness Challenge inspiring meaningful connections.
  • The TUPE (Tobacco Use Prevention Education) program is empowering middle and high school students with prevention and intervention strategies for substance use, including advocacy projects, peer-to-peer programs, and student-led public service campaigns.
