CLICK HERE TO TAKE THE SURVEY NOW

Robinson Aviation (RVA), the FAA-contracted staffing and managing organization for our Air Traffic Control Tower, has requested that users complete a short survey so they may better serve the flying public.

From RVA: All information will remain confidential. We are very interested in providing you our user the best possible service. To assist us in this ongoing endeavor will you please at your earliest convenience complete this survey and answer the following questions. Your name is not necessary but the requested information will assist us in the evaluation of our services.

As most of you are aware, the AWOS (Automated Weather Observing System) has been unable to report visibility and ceiling reports for several months now. Because the AWOS is owned and maintained by the FAA, we've been patiently waiting for an update on repairs.

We're happy to report that the replacement equipment was just delivered to the local Austin office and (fingers crossed) the repair should be made in the next 7-14 days.

In the meantime, please tune into the ATIS for real-time reports from our controllers during the hours of 7am to 9pm. We greatly appreciate your patience!

Calling all pilots and student pilots under the age of 24!
