Make math fun and engaging! Join the Math Fluency Games Series—free, live sessions designed to help youth learn math facts and build computational fluency through interactive games and activities. This series has 3 sessions offering exciting new strategies and activities to support math learning.

In the world of young learners, every story has the potential to spark curiosity. During DRI’s STEM Education Program’s FREE educator professional development training on our new Pre-K Green Box, educators will delve into how integrating STEAM and literacy can turn that curiosity into exploration and discovery.

The Green Box is a self-contained curriculum kit aligned with Nevada Pre-K standards, offering three weeks of lessons and all the supplies needed for each activity.

Come and explore connections between transpiration, weather systems, climate, and drought at DRI’s STEM Education Program’s FREE educator professional development training on our new middle school Green Box, Southwest Sustainable Innovation: Transpiration and Drought. Green Boxes are self-contained, NGSS-aligned curriculum kits offering three weeks of lessons and all necessary supplies.

Nevada Introduces STEM Endorsement for Licensed Teachers



The Governor’s Office of Science, Innovation and Technology (OSIT) and the Nevada Department of Education (NDE) proudly announce the approval by the State of Nevada Legislative Commission of a new STEM endorsement for licensed teachers.

Nevada licensed teachers can pursue the STEM endorsement through multiple pathways:

• Completing STEM-focused programs at accredited colleges or universities
• Passing the STEM Praxis Exam for Elementary Grades while serving for at least three years as a school or district STEM specialist, strategist, or leader; or
• Successfully completing a course of study and training through a Nevada Department of Education-approved professional development provider.
