According to Article 13, Section 5 of the CBA, Homeland should have issued vacation request forms that will allow you to request a first (1st) or second (2nd) option for each week of vacation that you have earned. These forms are to be returned to the Employer by February 15th of each year. The Employer will post a chart in each store showing each employee and their agreed upon vacation dates by March 1st of each year.
There will be no weeks blacked out for purposes of vacation scheduling.
Vacation days may be taken as personal days, but vacations requested by full week will be considered first by seniority.
Once vacations are scheduled, they may not be changed without mutual consent of the Company and the employee and the Union.
