Happy 70th Birthday Broward County Parks!

Easterlin Park, the first Broward County regional park, opened to the public.

In February 1956, Broward County established the Parks and Recreation Division with one county beach and a few natural areas. Now 70 years later, Broward County Parks manages more than 60 regional and neighborhood parks, nature centers, and natural areas. Our mission is Recreation. Preservation. Education. and more than 900 employees (full-time, part-time, and seasonal staff) work on this goal daily. Whether you are visiting for the first-time or generations of your family have enjoyed our parks, there is something for everyone. This is Your Park, Your Way!

Broward County Park Holiday Hours

All Broward County regional and neighborhood parks, nature centers, and natural areas will be open for Presidents Day on Monday, February 16. The regional parks' holiday gate fee of $3/vehicle (8 or fewer occupants) will be in effect. The Park Administrative office will be closed.
