Hello NKBA South Florida Members

As we kick off 2026, I want to start by welcoming you into what promises to be an exciting and impactful year for NKBA South Florida. We already have a strong calendar of events planned for the first half of the year, and our goal is to continue elevating our chapter meetings with thoughtful programming, meaningful connections, and experiences that truly add value to our community.

For those I have not yet had the chance to meet, my name is Kris Feneque, and I am honored to serve as your Chapter President. I have been involved with NKBA for over 10 years, primarily on the manufacturer side across appliances, plumbing, and surfaces. My journey with NKBA began in Southern California, where I was drawn in not just by the organization itself, but by the people behind it. The passion, collaboration, and industry leadership I experienced then, especially through initiatives like KBIS, are what made NKBA feel like home from the very beginning.

Today, I work with TOTO as the Business Development Manager for the Southeast, with a focus on commercial and hospitality projects. While my day-to-day role leans more commercial, I am always happy to be a resource and conduit for anything related to luxury residential work, collaboration, or industry insight.

I would also like to take a moment to sincerely thank our Board of Directors and committee members. Their time, dedication, and behind-the-scenes effort are what make this chapter thrive. Everyone has been working incredibly hard to put together thoughtful programming and engaging events, and I am truly grateful for their commitment and support.

Finally, I want to acknowledge something that makes NKBA South Florida special. This chapter is what we collectively make it. We are a volunteer-driven organization, and what you put into it is what you get out of it. We are deeply thankful for our designers, builders, contractors, manufacturers, and partners who continue to see the value in our mission and actively participate in strengthening our community.

I look forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming events and to everything we will accomplish together this year.
