River Cities Intergroup is made up of AA groups from the Tri-State area (AZ, CA, and NV). The second Monday of each month is the Central Office Intergroup meeting.

🚀 River Round-Up Update 🚀
The 36th Annual River Round-Up has wrapped up, and we’re grateful for another meaningful weekend of recovery, connection, and fellowship.
Members from near and far came together to share meetings, speakers, meals, laughter, and service — reminding us why this event matters year after year.
None of this happens without a dedicated planning committee and an incredible group of volunteers who showed up, stepped in, and carried the load.
Your service made this weekend possible.
Proceeds from River Round-Up help support the River Cities Central Office and the services it provides throughout the year.
Thank you for helping keep the doors open and the message moving forward.

The Twelve Concepts and
Our Shared Service Work
The Twelve Concepts help explain how service in AA works — who makes decisions, how responsibility is shared, and how trusted servants support the Fellowship.
They remind us that AA belongs to the groups. Service bodies exist to help groups, not to direct them, and group conscience keeps everything connected and accountable.
Throughout 2026, we’ll look at one Concept each month to better understand how our service structure works and how every group plays a part.
Concept II
“When, in 1955, the AA groups confirmed the permanent charter for their General Service Conference, they thereby delegated to the Conference complete authority for the active maintenance of our world services and thereby made the Conference — excepting for any change in the Twelve Traditions or in Article 12 of the Conference Charter — the actual voice and the effective conscience for our whole Society.”
Concept II reminds us that service works best when groups trust trusted servants to do the work — and stay connected through accountability.
The Fellowship holds the authority, while trusted servants are given responsibility to act on behalf of the groups. This delegation allows service to move forward efficiently without disconnecting from group conscience.
When groups stay engaged and communication stays open, service remains effective, balanced, and focused on supporting meetings and carrying the message.

sanity."
Tradition 2: "For our group purpose there is but one ultimate authority—a loving God as He may express Himself in our group conscience. Our leaders are but trusted servants; they do not govern."
Concept 2: "The General Service Conference of A.A. has become, for nearly
every practical purpose, the active voice and the effective conscience of our whole society in its world affairs."

Message From The Editor
Hey friends,
February is a funny month. Short, sometimes dark, a little quiet — and honestly a good time to catch our breath.
Recovery doesn’t always look dramatic. Sometimes it looks like showing up, trusting the process, trusting each other, and not taking ourselves too seriously while we do it.
Progress over perfection. Humor over ego. Love over control.
So if this month feels slower, that’s okay. We’re still here. The chairs are still warm. The coffee is still bad. And the miracle is still happening — one day at a time.
