Executive Director Message

The Chicago Bears season came to an end, but not without something meaningful to reflect on. The long practice hours, hard work, resilience, teamwork, the tenacity to excel was present in the 22 weeks during the season and the many hours in off-season. They would come from behind to win 8 games and showed their willingness to never give up. Along the way, they did something bigger than wins and losses. Small businesses felt the lift whether they were bars, restaurants, and shops benefited from packed rooms, shared cheers, Bears merchandise, and a renewed sense of community.
In business, the same principals apply as compared to sports. Long hours, hard work, teamwork, and resilience are the norm. As we approach February and brighter days and warmer temperatures will lift us to create new ideas to bring more business to you. The Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce can provide networking opportunities. Join a committee and join us at ribbon cuttings, Business After Hours and progressive networking luncheons. Don't miss the registration for the February 13th, Multi-Chamber Progressive Networking Breakfast below.

A leads group can be a game-changer for small businesses and Chamber members. It’s basically a built-in sales support team. The Lisle Area Chamber has a Leads group that meets monthly. Our Lisle Area Leads Group was invited as guests to join in our Chamber member, Naperville Networking Alliance at their monthly meeting held at a fellow Chamber member’s business, Limitless Dreams Events located in Lisle. Below is a picture of all the great leads and networking that went on during their meeting. They keep track of everyone’s Leads each week.
What Is a Leads Group?
A small group of businesses that meet regularly to share referrals, connections, and business opportunities. The leads are not cold leads. They are a reference from people you trust. The benefit of steady meeting. Regular meetings bring a steady pipeline of leads. Instead of random word-of-mouth, you get intentional referrals every month.
A leads group helps members: get more business, build stronger relationships, stay accountable and grow consistently. It turns networking from “collecting business cards” into real revenue opportunities.
You gain access to, marketing tips, business advice. In a leads group you meet other like-minded business people and they may help you with your business, accounting, social media, marketing skills to teach you.
Please join the Lisle Area Chamber Leads Group in February at Limitless Dream Events on February 25th.
