NCFRW – Celebrating America's 250th Birthday all year long! | | |
From Erica Vedeikis, NCFRW President
| | |
As one door closes, a new one opens!
As we enter March 2026, we have a momentous occasion just days away. The 2026 Primary Election Day is Tuesday, March 3. If you have not yet had the opportunity to cast your ballot during early voting, please be sure to make your way to your home polling location and vote on Tuesday. Our voices matter, and the Primary is where we, as Republicans, help determine the strongest candidates who will represent our values on the November ballot.
Then, on March 4, we will come together as one united team behind the elected slate of Republican candidates for the 2026 General Election. Primaries are a time for choice, discussion, and engagement—but once the voters have spoken, we unite with a shared goal: victory in November.
This year’s midterm elections represent yet another pivotal moment in America’s future. Keeping our U.S. Senate seat and maintaining our Republican majority in the U.S. House of Representatives will be imperative if we want President Trump to have a successful final two years in office. Just as importantly, the work we do this year will help build the momentum needed as we look ahead to the 2028 Presidential cycle.
Republican Women across North Carolina have always been a driving force in our party—organizing, volunteering, educating voters, and showing up when it matters most. I know that the women of the NCFRW will once again be on the front lines of this year’s elections, working tirelessly to ensure conservative victories across our great state.
Thank you for your continued dedication, leadership, and passion. Together, we are a strong and united force—and together, we will make a difference in 2026.
Let’s finish this Primary strong and get ready for the work ahead.
| | Reflection by Margaux Holland, Chaplain | | |
Imagine, our Dear President, Ronald Reagan reciting his quote with his half smile and a little head tilt….
“When people have freedom and a vision, when they have the courage and opportunity to work hard, and when people believe in the power of faith and hope, they can accomplish great things.”

| | Reaching Hispanic Voters by Sandy Moyer, RNHA-NC Chair | |
President Trump’s 2026 State of the Union was positive, unifying, and strong — and it resonated on issues that matter to everyday Americans, including Hispanics. His speech highlighted priorities that many communities share, even as some Democratic leaders in Congress revealed themselves to be petty and overly partisan on issues that should have been common sense and unifying. This address was the longest State of the Union in American history and, in my view, could easily have gone on another hour — it was truly energizing. If you didn’t walk away feeling proud to be an American, you either fell asleep or didn’t watch the full speech. It was also pure Trump — bold, brash, and entertaining.

| Dottie Martin Scholarship Fund Luncheon - May 2 | | |
The North Carolina Federation of Republican Women established the Dottie Martin Teachers Scholarship Fund in 1991 in honor of First Lady Dottie Martin’s work and dedication to the families and youth of North Carolina. This annual scholarship of $500.00 is designed for a man or a woman presently enrolled and studying the field of education.
This year, at our Spring Board Meeting, we will host the Annual Dottie Martin Scholarship Luncheon. We are asking that all our NCFRW clubs bring a basket to raffle off during the luncheon to raise funds for the Scholarship.

| | Your Club and Your Bylaws | |
Your Club Bylaws are Everyone's Bylaws
Every member plays a vital role in keeping our clubs strong, and that begins with understanding your club’s bylaws. These rules aren’t just for officers—they guide how we conduct business, make decisions, and protect fairness within our organization.
I encourage every member to take a few minutes between now and your January club meeting to refresh yourself with your bylaws. An informed membership strengthens our clubs, supports our leaders, and ensures we are all working together with clarity and purpose.
