From Your

Associational Mission Strategist

Purpose Statement:

The South Central Baptist Network exists to encourage and support our local churches in becoming strong, healthy Acts 1:8 churches, with a clear priority of reaching their communities with the Gospel.

Vision Statement:

The South Central Baptist Network is united around a vision to build a healthy, supportive culture where prayer fuels evangelism, leaders are equipped, missions are advanced, ministries are strengthened, and churches grow spiritually.

I am excited to share that our Strategy Team has updated the Purpose Statement and Vision Statement for our association. I believe these statements will provide clear direction for us in the years ahead. The team has also developed concise priorities, goals, and action plans to guide our Ministry Teams as they meet and shape the work of each ministry area. I look forward to meeting with these teams as we plan ways to support our churches and create opportunities for greater cooperation. Please keep our teams in your prayers as they meet.

I also want to encourage every church to participate in our Third Annual Leadership Conference on April 23rd at Pinecrest Baptist Church. The evening will include breakout sessions designed to equip churches with helpful information and resources for ministry. We will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a light meal, followed by breakout sessions at 6:45 p.m. We are grateful to have several Georgia Baptist consultants leading these sessions—you won’t want to miss it.

I am thankful for our churches that are faithfully praying for one another during worship services and other prayer times. Each month, we highlight three churches to pray for together. I truly believe that when we pray for one another, God hears and answers our prayers.

It is a joy and a privilege to serve our pastors and churches. May God continue to bless us as we seek Him and unite together to reach more people with the Gospel.

Pressing On Toward the Goal!
