The evening culminates with Dvořák’s passionate Cello Concerto in B minor, performed by the acclaimed Cuban-American cellist Tommy Mesa, whose artistry brings a unique perspective to this timeless masterpiece. On Sunday, January 11th the GSO celebrated the retirement of Angie Jones. During the ceremony the Guild presented to her an elegant poster, a gesture made possible through the generous contribution of Kris and Dave Goff.
