PTG On the Road
National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM)
It was a busy 3 days as PTG participated in the National Association of Music Merchants show in Anaheim, CA in January. PTG was one of more than 1600 exhibitors who welcomed more than 60,000 attendees. In addition to meeting and promoting the PTG and the career of piano technology, we welcomed the more than 40 PTG members took advantage of the free registration offer for PTG members. In addition to Executive Director Aaron Ensminger, staff member Shawn Bruce, WRVP Lisa Weller, RPT and PTG President David Stoneman, RPT staffed the PTG booth. PTG Journal Editor Scott Cole, RPT was also in attendance and will report on the show in an upcoming issue.
Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) Conference
The Piano Technicians Guild will be represented at the upcoming March 21-25, 2026 Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) Conference in Chicago this year where they will be celebrating their 150th anniversary. People come from all over the world to learn, compete and network. PTG’s exhibit hall booth will feature technician referrals and information on piano service and piano technology as a career. Encourage your clients who are coming to MTNA in March to stop by booth 306 on the 7th floor of the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile and let us know that a PTG member cares for their piano.
