A Message from the

Executive Director

Whew—what an exciting two months it has been! I’ve had the privilege of meeting true giants of the faith, along with an extraordinary team of smart, talented, and deeply compassionate staff and volunteers. Their eagerness to serve and their unwavering commitment to doing whatever it takes to save babies and care for moms—many of whom feel frightened and alone—has been both humbling and incredibly encouraging.

Do the names Shiphrah and Puah sound familiar? They were the two Hebrew midwives commanded by Pharaoh to put to death every baby boy born to Hebrew women. But Pharaoh underestimated them. These courageous, God-fearing women chose obedience to God over fear of man. I like to think of them as some of the earliest advocates—women who not only rescued babies, but ultimately helped preserve an entire nation.

At the Crisis Pregnancy Center, we strive to walk in that same courage and reverence for God. We are committed to doing all we can to protect the lives of babies and to surround moms with compassion, hope, and tangible support. We pray and work toward the day when abortion is no longer seen as a solution—when choosing life is embraced, supported, and celebrated.
