Religious Education Newsletter

February 2026

Dear St. Raphael Parish Family,

The joy of Jesus be with you! I pray that your Lent is off to a wonderful start. Below is a brief summary and link to each article in the February RE newsletter. Happy Reading!

  • Note from the Director:  I share how with a little help from my son, Andrew, I became aware that I need to slow down to the speed of joy.

  • Family Outreach: Kathy Baehman reflects on the importance of forgiveness in our families.

  • Sunday School: Gwendolyn Noto reviews how children in Sunday School made a plan for how to grow closer to God during Lent.
  • Elementary: Lisa Lynch reports on the amazing ways the Holy Spirit has been working in our elementary classrooms through art, games, and prayer.

  • Middle School/High School: Katie Klug updates us on what is happening with youth ministry and shares the details about upcoming community building gatherings for youth in grades 6-12.

  • InFormed Highlights: Video clips geared toward parents, youth, and children that focus on living the Catholic faith!

Please know our entire RE team is praying for you and your family as we continue to journey together as disciples on the way.  If you have any questions regarding Religious Education at St. Raphael, please feel free to contact me (jessie.adrians@raphael.org).  Our Lady of Champion, St. Francis Xavier, and St. Therese of Lisieux pray for us!
