Walking Tour: Barnes Foundation and Philadelphia Museum of Art in Philly (Course 13792) gives students a reason to travel. Meet up with art educator Helen Lee for a day trip that begins at the Barnes Foundation, where artworks are arranged in ensembles that emphasize visual relationships and without the labels customary in a traditional museum. Take a deep guided tour of the collection and then break for lunch (not included in class fee). After eating, journey via foot or Uber (depending on the number of students registered) to the Philadelphia Museum to view paintings from the permanent collection. Please note: students must provide their own transportation to Philadelphia. Class meets on Thursday, February 12, 2026.

Take your sweetheart to a love-themed concert!

Renowned Italian classical pianist and composer Cristiana Pegoraro will be back in town, this time giving the audience the chance to decide what she plays from a musical menu of masterpieces from the classical repertoire and beyond. Pianist Cristiana Pegoraro in Concert, Patron's Choice of Program (Course 13850) combines live piano performances with stimulating conversation about the composers' lives, impact, and artistry. The concert comes to Scarsdale on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 6:30pm. SAS's Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony honoring Marilyn DeRight will kick off the evening.

Eat to your heart's content!
