Hello fellow Alamo Ranch Neighbors,
Hope everyone is staying warm and all your plants are surviving.
I want to extend a thank you to residents that have sent messages about things they have seen in the community that need fixing or improving. In our 20+ year-old community, we don't always see the aging process because we see it every day, and I don't mean aging to mean decay. The roads are getting bumpy, fences are chipped and warped, and so on. We have a reserve study (done every 4-5 years) and try to follow the recommendations of it and we have our capitol improvement fund so that our community stays desirable. Please have patience and realistic expectations on time lines for items that need to be addressed.
The sports court project is coming along nicely. The land is cleared and should be getting electrical and slab pouring in the next week or two.
We are looking for new members for the Virtual Neighborhood Advisory Committee. The goal is to have two representatives per grant. We are looking for representatives from Harrison, Burnet, Austin, and Woodbury. If you live in those grants and can meet once a month on zoom, this may be the committee for you. Please email myself or the office for more details.
The senior scholarship deadline is February 15th and the info is below on the flyer. Thank you to those who came to the Raising Canes Spirit night we raised almost $500! If you would like to donate to our senior scholarship please let the office know by the above deadline.
As always, if you have any questions/comments, please feel free to email me.
