Breakfast Club Cats is having a busy start to 2026. We have been implementing new technologies to reach out to our supporters, planning several wintertime events, and have battled Mother Nature's Baltimore deep-freeze. Read on to see the details.

BCC Has a New Website!

Breakfast Club Cats is getting a fresh new look this year with a brand new logo, and a new website to go with it.

Our new website is packed with lots of useful information: our history and programs, affiliates, how to contact us, board members, our Candid Rating, four ways to donate, and best of all... a listing and photos of our adoptable cats and kittens!

Please take the time to explore our new website, and pass the link along to friends and family who may be interested in a cat adoption or supporting our mission.

We Have the Answer to Cabin Fever!

Need to get out? Come to the Rock For The Rescue event on Sunday, February 22, 2026 from 1 to 5 pm at McAvoy's Sprots Bar, 2531 Putty Hill Ave, Parkville, MD 21234.

Live music, raffle baskets, 50/50 Raffle, silent auctions, bake table, vendors, and more!

Only a $10 donation at the door gets you a day of fun and great music while supporting a worthy cause - Breakfast Club Cats.

Donations of cat food and cat supplies are always welcome at the door too.

It's Not Too Late To Donate

To make our Rock for the Rescue Event a success we’re seeking donated baskets and auction items. Popular contributions include:

Pet Supplies Plus is hosting a valentine-themed photo shoot with beautiful backdrop 12-3pm, get a FREE professional photo for all pet parents. Cats/Kitten adoption: 12-2pm Bring the whole family-pets included and celebrate a love in air day with us.

Is It Spring Yet?

This winter has been brutal for everybody, including our cats. The heavy ice and snow has strained our metal shelter door, covered our outdoor Catio area, made our wooden gates swell, and trapped our vehicle. Even walking to check on our local feral colonies to deliver food and monitor the cats was difficult.

We have been busy clearing ice and snow, installing insulation, and placing heaters in the shed area as the temperatures dipped into the single digits on many evenings.

Let's all hope the ground hog was wrong this year!

Penny, the biscuit maker, rescued from a local colony and very glad to be in our warm shelter, wants you all to stay warm too.❤️
