Thank You for Your Ongoing Donations to the TCGIS School Bus Program

We would like to thank our bus families for supporting our bus program with a donation in January. We rely on on-going bus donations to offset the cost of providing busing to our families.  Please continue your support with a monthly donation via  Boonli or if you'd like to set up a recurring payment, please use  this form and submit it to the school office. If you don't ride the bus but would like to offer financial support to our busing program, we welcome your donation!

If you have any questions, please email Maja Reyes ( [email protected]).
Update Regarding City of St Paul and City Council

As communicated to the TCGIS community in the email message from the Board of Directors on February 20th, the school faces appeals to our variances request and site plan by both SHSA and also D10, who filed a last minute appeal on February 19th. On  March 6 the City Council will hear these appeals. This is a public hearing with testimony allowed. We encourage you to send letters ahead of this hearing in support of the  site plan and variances. Here is a  link to template letters to use IN FAVOR OF OUR VARIANCES AND SITE PLAN.

Relatedly, on  March 20 the City Council will hold a public hearing and receive public comment on whether to historically designate the former church.  Please send a separate letter against historic designation. Please encourage other friends and family members - even those not associated with the school - to write letters of support. Below is a list of City Council members and their emails, as well as a link to the letter templates AGAINST HISTORIC PRESERVATION you can use.  Thanks for your support!

Make Up Days - Yes or No

We have received several inquiries from families as to the likelihood of TCGIS making up any of the missed instructional days.  At this point, we do not foresee having to do so. Should this change, we will let you know.  Please continue making your summer plans assuming that our school calendar stays the same.
Charter School Day at the State Capitol on March 6

If you live  in one of these districts and are interested in visiting your Senator or Representative on behalf of TCGIS and charter schools on March 6, please email  Ted Anderson as soon as possible.
