Note from Jean Behnke
Dear Parents,

I was delighted to see so many of you at our Family HeARTs Night. Thank you to Ms. Nadeau for the wonderful, creative, inspiring lesson. I know that many of your children will be finding ways to use what they learned to express their creativity at home. Special thanks to our Parents Association for helping to assemble the materials, and thank you to Jen Thomas for her inspiration and leadership for this event. We had more than sixty families in attendance! I know that I will be trying some of Ms. Nadeau’s ideas! Please remember to send photos of your children’s projects to her.

Admissions Updates
Re-Enrollment Contracts Schedule

Re-enrollment season is right around the corner! We anticipate full classes in many grades once again, and because of this, we want you to be well-informed about the enrollment timeline. Contracts for the 2021-2022 school year are expected to be released on March 10, with contracts for financial aid recipients to be released on April 5. There is limited space available for new students in most classes, so it will be very important to enroll by the deadline of March 24 (April 19 for financial aid recipients). Enrolling by the deadline will allow us to know the available spaces for new students. Mark your calendars! Thank you.
Discover the Difference Open House Event

Crossroads is hosting a virtual open house on Thursday, March 4 from 6:00-7:00 pm. We invite you to spread the word about our special school with friends, neighbors, relatives, and colleagues!

Show Your Love!

During the month of February all gifts made will honor our faculty and staff.

When you make your gift you can also send a special message to your child's teacher(s) or a staff member. At the end of the month, every teacher/staff member will receive a handmade terrarium (created by past parent Diane Kimball P’20,) along with your heartfelt messages.

Help us reach our goal of $175K and 100% participation. We can't do it without you!

Thank you for all those who have already given to the Crossroads Fund!
General Updates
MATHCOUNTS Chapter Results

On February 5-6, ten students represented Crossroads at the Lebanon MATHCOUNTS Chapter Competition online: Aidan B, Aryaman, Mackenzie, Heidi, Luca, Ethan, Roxane, Gael, David, and Oliver. Three of these students placed in the top 5: David placed fifth, Gael third, and Roxane first. David, Gael, and Roxane also qualified to advance to the Chapter Invitational for the opportunity to compete at the state level. We wish the three of them all the best at the Invitational, and offer congratulations to all of our mathletes for their excellent performance at Chapters!
February Service Project

Our second graders made Valentine baskets for home-bound seniors in Newbury, VT. The students created cheerful pop-up cards and wrapped them with packages of cookies. Mrs. Martin spent her Valentines Day delivering these special baskets to the seniors in her town.
