I am so excited to announce our first wine dinner of the year!
We will be featuring Daou Vineyards, with a special guest joining us for dinner on Wednesday, February 23! I hope you'll join me for this spectacular dinner!

There is still time to reserve a table for Valentine's Day! We will be celebrating on Saturday, February 12 with an eclectic three-course menu. Scroll for more details!

National Drink Wine Day is approaching, and who doesn't love celebrating wine? Make sure to ask your server about our vintage selection of wines to pair perfectly with your meal!

Beginning in February, we will be presenting a Hastings' Tasting Wine Feature which will spotlight Glenda's favorite wine of the month from Napa Café's wine list. Our featured wine for February is Daou's Cabernet Reserve, be sure to try a glass the next time you visit!

Hastings' Tastings: Daou Wine Dinner
We are so excited to announce our first Wine Dinner of the year on Wednesday, February 23!
 
The Daou Wine Dinner will feature four courses paired with Bordeaux varietals from Daou Vineyards.
 
A special guest will be joining me to discuss each wine and its pairing.

Carpenter Art Garden Yard Hearts
Decorate your yard for the season with a Carpenter Art Garden yard heart- available at Napa Café!

Yard Hearts help raise funds for the children of Carpenter Art Garden and awareness for Le Bonheur Children's Research Hospital for $30.

Carpenter Art Garden is a non-profit organization dedicated to working with the children of Binghampton to promote each one's creativity and self-worth through exposure to artistic, educational, and vocational programs.
National Drink Wine Day is February 18
The purpose of National Drink Wine Day is to spread the love and health benefits of wine.

Did you know that you can enhance the flavor of your meal by pairing it with wine? Consider these tips below from our owner Glenda Hastings!
If your food is rich:
  • Wines higher in acidity (Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc)
  • Wines higher in tannins (Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec)

If your food is salty:
  • Wines higher in acidity and sparkling wines (Vermentino, Albariño, Cava)
  • Lower tannin reds (Beaujolais, Pinot Noir)

If your food is spicy:
  • Off-dry or sparkling wines (Riesling, Viognier, Prosecco)
  • Lower tannin, lower alcohol reds (Pinot Noir, Beaujolais)

If your food is acidic:
  • Wines higher in acidity and sparkling wines (Muscadet, Champagne, Chianti)
