New Mural on Campus Inspires Clients and Staff

This past Sunday HSC welcomed Street Art Ministry to the Campus Lawn, where they brightened up the space with music, color, and lovely people. As part of their annual InSpire event, the Arizona Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists painted the primary brick wall that everyone sees on Campus.

Chicago artist Milt Coronado gifted his incredible artistry, the Nevada Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists supplied the paint, and acapella band Undivided played international uplifting music for hours. Local pastor Manny Cruz brought everyone together.

HSC is so grateful for this opportunity and overjoyed for a big splash of positivity on the lawn – “We Rise Together.”

100 People Served at Project Connect in Surprise

The first Project Connect of 2023 was not surprisingly, a great success! In collaboration with the City of Surprise, over 20 providers served at the Salvation Army Northwest Corps. Big thanks to an incredible group of volunteers for guiding about 100 individuals through essential services that prevent and end homelessness.

Special thanks to the Salvation Army team for graciously hosting the event, and to the Kosher Food Pantry for serving food to all clients, volunteers, and staff.

Want to be part of Project Connect? We need volunteers for the next event March 14 in Tempe. See below for details.
