THE WITNESS

null
Then I acknowledged my sin to you,
    and I did not hide my iniquity;
I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,"
    and you forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah
 Therefore let all who are faithful
    offer prayer to you;
at a time of distress, the rush of mighty waters
    shall not reach them.
 You are a hiding place for me;
    you preserve me from trouble;
    you surround me with glad cries of deliverance. Selah
I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go;
    I will counsel you with my eye upon you.
 Do not be like a horse or a mule, without understanding,
    whose temper must be curbed with bit and bridle,
    else it will not stay near you.
 Many are the torments of the wicked,
    but steadfast love surrounds those who trust in the Lord.
 Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, O righteous,
    and shout for joy, all you upright in heart.

Psalm 32: 5-11

  Special Performance

  null
Everyone is invited on March 13th at 8 pm to the Lyric Studio in Marietta Square for Jarius Cliett's unique cabaret event called "The Switch Up." It features artists swapping vocal songs: with guys singing songs written for ladies, and ladies singing songs written for guys. This is the first show that Jarius has produced with his new company JMC Productions.
Congregational Life and Care would like to offer transportation to this event in Marietta. The plan is to meet at the church on Friday, March 13th at 5:30pm.
In order to avoid the early evening traffic on 285 we will eat at the Piccadilly Cafeteria near Northlake Mall (2000 Crescent Center Blvd). We will be using the church bus so we have room for 14 people. Tickets are available through the Lyric Theatre Box Office.
