Happy February everyone! It's hard to believe we are in a new month but I am so excited for everything we have ahead of us this year. I want to remind all 8th graders and older to please register for Confirmation this week if you have not already done so. We want to make sure everyone has the correct information as we jump into confirmation classes on February 20th!
In case you didn't know, we are celebrating the life and legacy of Absalom Jones this Sunday. Absalom Jones was the first African American to be ordained a priest in the Episcopal Church. The life of The Reverend Absalom Jones is one of deep sadness, courage, and hope and I encourage all of you to read about Absalom at home this weekend before church on Sunday and to think of the good things each of us can do to be more like Blessed Absalom.
Peace,
Hope
