Hot Club of Los Angeles, hailed by Jackson Browne as “an LA treasure”, will celebrate the release of the nuevo Django quintet’s new 15-song album, Nova, with a special two-and-a-half-hour concert Saturday, February 3, 2024, 8pm at the intimate Ruskin Group Theatre in Santa Monica, CA.
The program will feature all the material on Nova as well as highlights from the band’s uniquely eclectic mix of jazz Manouche instrumentals, French, Roma and Russian vocal numbers, straight ahead jazz, film score selections and its own acclaimed originals. Surprise guests are likely.
