NJ MVC to Offer Real ID & Registration Renewal in Princeton
|
|
Senator Andrew Zwicker, Assemblyman Roy Freiman, and Assemblywoman Sadaf Jaffar are thrilled to announce that the NJ Motor Vehicle Commission mobile unit will be at the Suzanne Patterson Senior Center, 45 Stockton Street, Princeton, February 6-10 issuing REAL IDs and offering registration renewals. Currently, there are no appointments available for REAL ID at this event. However, there are often cancellations so checking online for same-day appointments could be helpful. Appointments for Real IDs can be made online by selecting the Suzanne Patterson Senior Center. Appointments can be found at other locations throughout the state. You can schedule appointments online for other locations here. (If you would like to be put on an early bird notification list for any future outdoor events in the Princeton area, email Pam Hersh at phersh@njleg.org)
Starting May 2025, you must have a REAL ID-compliant driver's license/ID to fly within the U.S., unless you use a U.S. passport or another federally approved form of identification.
Until the deadline, a Standard New Jersey driver's license is valid for air travel within the U.S.
Click here for an interactive tool to help determine what documents you need for your appointment.
Vehicle registration renewal information can be found here. Appointments can be made online for registration renewal.
Appointments are required for the REAL ID and Registration Renewal.
