Stephen Ministers are a free confidential resource at FUMC, a team of good listeners who meet one-on-one with folks going through grief, stress or difficult transitions. Contact Amy Kennedy to learn more. 

Our Visitation Team wants to stay in touch with folks who can’t come to church very often in person. If you or a friend would like a monthly call or visit from someone on the team, please contact Susan Baily

A memorial service for Beverly Crump, Pastor Nancy’s mom and Emmett Howard’s grandmother, will be held at Silver Maples in Chelsea on March 19 at 2 p.m.

Please join Love Thy Neighbor (LTN) in the Social Hall after Sunday worship on Feb. 1 to pack food bags for hungry neighbors in Ann Arbor. All ages welcome. Consider bringing a food donation at that time. Find more information regarding LTN and desired foods here.

We continually seek justice.

Keep Doing Justice is a one-day event on Feb. 21 in East Lansing to empower Michigan United Methodists to be better participants in seeking justice in our world. This will be achieved through worship, speakers, and workshops showcasing justice-focused ministries in the Michigan Area UMC. Read more>

One in six adult Michiganders struggle with food security. Advocacy Day, March 18 in Lansing connects us with lawmakers to promote continuation of essential services. Organizational Zoom meetings begin Feb. 11 to prep us for advocating! Read more>
