Spay/neuter puts shelter animals on the road to adoption!

February Fix Fest, our celebration of Spay/Neuter Awareness Month, is helping homeless animals get even closer to adoption day! As well as preventing unplanned puppies and kittens from ending up in shelters, spay/neuter surgeries are a critical step in getting current animals adopted.

World Spay Day is next week, and we're still far from our goal. To ensure that every animal adopted has spay and neuter services, we're aiming to raise $27,500 this month. To prevent a downpour of unplanned litters, we need your help! Thanks to a very special member of our Alliance, your donation goes even further.

Thanks to your generorsity, we've officially unlocked our $10,000 match! However, we still have $2,000 to go and only 6 days left in February. Will you help us provide these lifesaving services?

With several animals like Lorek, Alice & Hamish, and Bell Curve still looking for sponsors, now is a great time to help! These sweet babies still need sponsors for their spay/neuter surgeries; they need you! Want to help even more animals? Help us to fund lifesaving surgeries for dogs with pyometra, surgeries for Prevent a Litter Plus (PAL+) animals, anesthesia machine improvements, or other vital clinic needs during Fix Fest.

It's official: we're having our first in-person gala next month as Animal Friends Alliance on Saturday, March 26 at the Hilton Fort Collins! Registration is now open (with a virtual option for those who want/need it).

The 2022 Gala for Animals theme is Mardi Paw, so grab a mask and let the good times roll! Enjoy dinner, live and silent auctions with over 100 items up for bid, kitty and dog cameos, the beautiful Magnificent Beasts created by local artists, and the great feeling of knowing you're supporting animals and people in our community.

Puppy and Dog Foster Volunteers Still Needed

If you have been wanting to make a greater impact in your community and save the life of a homeless dog or puppy, now is the time to become a foster volunteer!

Foster volunteers save lives by opening their homes to temporary animal residents like Bailey, pictured here. Our amazing foster team makes fostering pups easy. We provide all of the supplies (food, collar, leash, toys, etc.), match you up with a dog that makes sense for your home and experience level.

Adoptable Animal Feature

Meet Marcel Duchamp! Our team rescued this sweet, older lady from an animal hoarding situation in Sterling earlier this year.

Marcel was naturally a little shy and closed off when she first arrived at Animal Friends Alliance. However, the more staff worked with her to address her dental issues, heavy mats, and other needs, she began to open up and show us her true beautiful colors! Our staff have since fallen in love with her cute, raspy meow, gentle disposition, and amazing capacity for love. She's also still very spunky and playful for a 10-year-old!
