Monthly Insight
Professional Op-Ed
 Keep the Spark Going!
As a result of being in touch with many site members and frequently arranging dates, I am learning that it is wise to try to keep the first few dates just a couple of days apart. If the first few dates are a week or more apart, it is difficult to build the connection and friendship which is crucial to establishing a lasting relationship. I have seen relationships that have potential fade away because in one month they went out three times--and each date felt like a first date.

If dating more frequently is not possible, use Skype or phone calls to keep the connection going in between dates. Try not to use text as an alternative, because, as many professionals have concurred, texting is not meant to for the deep meaningful conversations needed to make the special connection!
