February CCAA Counselor Corner (CCC): Scholarships & Financial Aid
We hope the fourth edition of the CCAA Counselor Corner (CCC) finds you warm, healthy and well. We know this is a time of year that is filled with many different emotions for your students and their parents--the excitement of receiving acceptance letters, the disappointment of receiving unfavorable admission decisions, and the stresses of how to make their dream school a reality with scholarship offers and financial aid packages being released.

This month's issue is full of financial aid and scholarship resources and information to help you as you walk your students and their families through the final few months of their college search. Continue reading to learn some helpful tips from an assistant director of financial aid at one of our National CCAA member institutions and to hear from a current student at a different CCAA member school who is also 2020 National CCAA Scholarship recipient.

We know that juniors are also starting to knock on your doors --either in person or virtually--so we've also included some dates for you to share with them in hopes that they'll join us for some upcoming Spring 2021 Virtual College Fairs and Events designed to provide more information for students who are just starting their college searches.
