Regional Travel Guide - Deadline: February 12th
  • The special edition 2021 REGIONAL TRAVEL GUIDE has targeted distribution throughout Northeast Ohio, and more affordable advertising rates.

  • 50,000 copies will be distributed throughout Northeast Ohio hotels and attractions, published in About magazine, direct mailed to select Akron Beacon Journal subscribers, and used by Visit Canton to fulfill requests for information about things to do in the area.

Tourism Ohio Cooperative Advertising - Deadline: February 15th
  • Matches investments, up to $25,000, in exchange for displaying the "Ohio. Find It Here." logo on your advertising.

  • Covers 75% of the cost of content creation including videography, photography, and influencer campaigns.

  • Visit Canton will provide additional co-op support toward your expense to participate in the content creation and/or TravelZoo partnership. Contact:
Digital Dining Guide - Launches: March 2021
  • We are excited to announce the launch of a new reader-friendly specialty publication in a digital and engaging format.

  • The digital dining guide will be a click-through call to action for SEM that reaches visitors in-market actively searching for places to eat.

  • The dining guide will also be promoted via marketing and distribution to event and tournament planners and participants, and visitors in area hotels and attractions.

Craft Brew Passport - Launches: March 2021
  • Visit Canton will launch a new mobile, smartphone based passport promoting craft brews and breweries in the region.

  • The free Hall of Fame Hops Craft Brew Trail passport will encourage locals and visitors to check-in at each participating location to be entered into a grand prize package drawing, from March - November 2021.

  • Locations on the pass are also recommended to submit a special offer, deal, or discount that can be redeemed with the mobile passport.

The program provides non-repayable grants equal to 45% of gross earned revenues.
Learn more about the SBA Shuttered Venue Grant Program. The program is designed to help some of those most impacted by extended shutdowns and restricted capacities throughout the pandemic. Eligible applicants could include museum operators, theatre operators, and theatrical producers, live performing arts organizations, live venue operators or promotors, talent representatives, and any subsidiary of these organizations that meet qualifications.

Those receiving PPP are not eligible for the SBA Shuttered Venue Grant program. All details and an application date are not yet final. Check frequently for the latest updates.
