2020 Annual Meeting Recap
If you missed our recent annual meeting, here were some of the highlights:

* Chamber Year in Review : Our Chamber Membership is vibrant and growing, and there is unprecedented new business creation and exciting economic momentum right now in our area! And for the musically inclined among you, the "12 Months of Chamber" 2019 highlights were shared...

* Board Chair Scott Gillespie welcomed three new board members to help lead the Chamber forward in the coming years: Jeff Cabral, Cathy Stackpole, and Laura Warner. Please join us in welcoming them to the Board.

* Monsignor Mathieu of Good Shepherd Parish was the recipient of this year's A. William Kany Jr. Leadership Award for his many years of dedicated community leadership. The award was presented by David Flood, Stephen St. Cyr and Stefa Normantis.

* Nate Wildes and the "Live and Work in Maine" organization are deploying creative and novel marketing efforts to recruit more people and companies to Maine. Learn more at
New Member Update

* Team Letellier at RE/MAX - We're pleased to welcome Team Letellier of RE/MAX Realty One to the Chamber community. Bob and Dan Letellier lead this team of seasoned real estate agents committed to providing personalized service to buyers and sellers, as well as giving back to the local community. Conveniently located on Main St. in Biddeford.

* Aquaboggan Water Park - We welcome this icon of summer fun to the Chamber as they celebrate more than 40 years as Maine's original water park. With high-speed water slides, bumper boats, a wave pool, mini golf and much more, Aquaboggan has something for everyone.

* Attache Business Center - This new business is a co-working space located on Pool Street in Biddeford (in the Pension Professionals building), and offers fully furnished private office spaces to rent with free on-site parking and unlimited use of all of the necessary business amenities. A Business After Hours is scheduled there for March 19th, mark it on your calendars!

* Saco Meals Program - The Saco Meals Program is a vital community resource serving nearly 10,000 free meals annually to residents of Biddeford, Saco, and Old Orchard Beach. Located at Most Holy Trinity hall in Saco, volunteers cook and serve meals on Monday's and Thursday's.

* Spectrum Business - We're pleased to welcome Spectrum Business to the Chamber. Local sales representative Matt Verissimo can tailor plans to help businesses and organizations maximize their productivity with business internet, phone and TV service.

* Safe House - We welcome the non-profit Safe House to the Chamber. Eliza Conley-Lepene, Safe House Founder and CEO, created this organization that has developed a unique phone app designed to aid and support victims of domestic violence.

Hard to believe that trend-setter Biscuits & Company is celebrating their 5th anniversary already in Biddeford!

22nd Annual Mary's Walk & Kerrymen 5K on March 22nd
Mary's Walk and its companion run, the Kerrymen 5k, have raised over $3 Million for the people of Maine and is now one of the largest cancer foundations of its kind. Mary's Walk, a non-profit charity, donates all proceeds to the Maine Cancer Foundation, a state-wide organization focusing on early detection, access to care, and research that support cancer patients and their families.

Non-Profit Professional Development Series

United Way of York County is offering FREE professional development training sessions for local non-profit organizations and other community partners over the coming months. Check out the list of sessions, which include ways to engage volunteers, raise funds, and navigate RFP and grant processes.
